Bountyverse ("Bountyverse," "we," "us," or "our") is a digital platform that enables users to create, fund, participate in, and resolve bounty contracts, including contracts backed by blockchain-based escrow smart contracts.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you access or use the Bountyverse platform (the "Service").

By using Bountyverse, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

When you create an account or interact with the Service, we may collect:

Epic Games Account Data

• Epic Games User ID
• Epic Games display name (if provided)

X (Twitter) Account Data

• X handle (username)
• Public display name

Zero Messenger & Zero ID

• When required to facilitate bounty payouts, Bountyverse may collect and store a user's Zero ID.
• Zero Messenger is a third-party messaging and identity service owned and operated by Zero Tech (@zero_tech). The Zero ID is collected solely for the purpose of facilitating the delivery of bounty funds and related transactional communications.
• The Zero ID is stored and processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy and is not used for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.

Profile & Participation Data

• Public profile details
• Bounty participation history
• Claims, submissions, and verification materials

Communications

• Support requests
• Dispute or verification communications

We do not collect passwords, private messages, or non-public social media data.

2.2 Blockchain & Smart Contract Information

When interacting with bounty contracts, we may process:

• Public wallet addresses
• Transaction hashes
• Escrow deposits and payouts
• Smart contract interaction metadata

Blockchain data is public, immutable, and outside Bountyverse's control.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

We may automatically collect:

• IP address
• Device and browser information
• Usage logs and timestamps
• Security and fraud-prevention signals

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Authenticate users via Epic Games and X
• Operate and maintain user accounts
• Display public bounty participation
• Facilitate bounty creation, escrow funding, and payouts
• Verify bounty claims and resolve disputes
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and manipulation
• Return unclaimed bounty funds after expiration
• Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
• Improve platform functionality and security
• Facilitate the delivery of bounty funds through approved third-party messaging and identity services, including Zero Messenger

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information for targeted advertising, marketing, or data brokerage purposes.

4. Sharing of Information

We share information only as necessary to operate the Service.

4.1 With Third-Party Verification Services

Where necessary to operate the Service, Bountyverse may share limited information with third-party services for the sole purpose of verifying bounty eligibility or completion.

Such sharing is limited to what is strictly necessary and does not include Epic Games account data unless explicitly required for authentication within the Service

4.2 With Authentication Providers

• Epic Games (OAuth authentication)
• X (Twitter) (OAuth authentication)

4.3 With Blockchain Networks

Transaction data is broadcast to public blockchains and may be visible to anyone.

4.4 With Service Providers

We may share data with vendors providing:

• Hosting and infrastructure
• Security and monitoring
• Analytics and support services (using aggregated or de-identified data where possible)
• Zero Messenger (operated by Zero Tech) for the limited purpose of facilitating bounty fund delivery and related transactional messaging

5. Smart Contract Escrow & Bounty Lifecycle

5.1 Escrow Funding

When a bounty is placed:

• Funds are transferred into a blockchain-based escrow smart contract
• Bountyverse does not custody or control user funds

5.2 Verification and Payout

• Verified claims result in automatic payout to the hunter's wallet
• Verification may involve platform review and/or confirmation through third-party systems integrated with the Service

5.3 Expiration and Refunds

• Bounties not successfully claimed within 90 days automatically expire
• Escrowed funds are returned to the bounty creator's wallet

Blockchain transactions are final and irreversible.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to:

• Provide the Service
• Resolve disputes
• Meet legal obligations

Public blockchain data may persist indefinitely.

7. Security

We implement reasonable safeguards including:

• Secure authentication
• Encryption in transit
• Access controls
• Smart contract security practices

No system is completely secure.

8. Children's Privacy

Bountyverse is not intended for users under 13 years old, or under the minimum age required to use Epic Games Account Services in the user's jurisdiction.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country of residence. We take reasonable measures to protect transferred data.

10. Your Rights

You may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, subject to legal limitations and blockchain immutability.
