Bountyverse Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Bountyverse platform ("Bountyverse," "we," "us," or "our"), including all related websites, applications, smart contracts, and services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using Bountyverse, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference and governs the collection, use, and sharing of personal information, including Epic Games account data, X (Twitter) data, Zero ID data, and blockchain-related information.

If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction
• Be legally permitted to use Epic Games Account Services and X (Twitter), if applicable
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements

You are responsible for ensuring your use of Bountyverse complies with all applicable laws, game rules, and third-party terms.

3. Account Registration & Authentication

To access certain features, you must authenticate using approved methods, which may include:

• Epic Games Account Services
• X (Twitter)
• Other methods approved by Bountyverse

You are responsible for all activity associated with your account and for maintaining the security of your credentials.

4. Nature and Scope of the Service

Bountyverse is a technology platform designed solely to facilitate digital, game-related bounty contracts.

4.1 Platform Role

Bountyverse may be involved in creating, structuring, and facilitating bounty contracts, including providing templates, interfaces, smart-contract integrations, verification workflows, and moderation tools.

However:

• Bountyverse is not a party to any bounty contract
• Bountyverse does not guarantee bounty outcomes, verification results, or payment
• Bountyverse is not a bank, escrow agent, broker, custodian, or financial intermediary

All bounty obligations exist solely between users.

4.2 Gaming-Only Use / No Real-World Bounties

Bountyverse is intended exclusively for gaming-related, virtual, and digital bounty activities.

You may not use the Service to create, promote, or participate in:

• Real-world bounty hunting
• Surveillance, tracking, or identification of real persons
• Physical harm, harassment, intimidation, or coercion
• Law-enforcement, vigilante, or quasi-law-enforcement activities

Any attempt to use Bountyverse for real-world bounty contracts is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate suspension or termination.

5. Bounty Contracts

5.1 Creating a Bounty

When you create a bounty:

• You are responsible for defining the bounty terms
• You are solely responsible for ensuring you have sufficient funds to pay the bounty
• When a blockchain-based escrow smart contract is established, you will be required to fund the bounty via that escrow smart contract

Failure to fund a required escrow may result in the bounty being unpublished, invalidated, or removed.

5.2 Claiming a Bounty

To claim a bounty, users must:

• Satisfy the stated bounty requirements
• Submit required proof or verification materials
• Comply with applicable game rules and platform policies

Submitting a claim does not guarantee approval or payment.

5.3 Verification

Bounty verification may involve:

• Review by Bountyverse
• Automated checks
• Review or approval by the contract owner
• Confirmation from a game, publisher, or third-party service

Verification decisions are final and may result in approval, rejection, or invalidation of claims.

5.4 Payment & Payouts

As a bounty claim is approved:

• The owner of the bounty contract is responsible for making payment
• If a blockchain-based escrow smart contract is active, approved claims result in automatic payout from the escrow smart contract
• If no escrow is active, payment obligations remain solely with the contract owner

Bountyverse does not control or reverse payouts once executed.

5.5 Expiration & Refunds

• Bounties expire 90 days after creation if no valid claim is approved
• Upon expiration, escrowed funds (if any) are automatically returned to the bounty creator
• Expiration and refunds are enforced by smart-contract logic where applicable and are final

6. Smart Contracts & Blockchain Risks

By using Bountyverse, you acknowledge that:

• Smart contracts execute automatically
• Blockchain transactions are irreversible
• Network congestion, bugs, exploits, or failures may occur
• Wallet security is your responsibility

Bountyverse is not liable for losses caused by blockchain failures, smart-contract behavior, or wallet compromise.

7. Zero Messenger & Zero ID

Bountyverse may use Zero Messenger, operated by Zero Tech (@zero_tech), to facilitate bounty fund delivery and related transactional communications.

By using the Service, you consent to:

• The use of your Zero ID solely for bounty payout and related communications
• Storage and processing of your Zero ID in accordance with our Privacy Policy

Zero Messenger is a third-party service, and Bountyverse is not responsible for its availability or performance.

8. Fees

Bountyverse may charge platform, protocol, or service fees, which will be disclosed prior to transaction completion.

All fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

9. Prohibited Content & Conduct

You may not create, upload, or associate any bounty with content that includes or promotes:

• Pornography or sexually explicit material
• Sexual exploitation or abuse
• Hate speech or harassment
• Violence or threats of harm
• Illegal activities
• Fraudulent or misleading content

Violating content may be automatically removed and may result in suspension, termination, or forfeiture of bounties, at Bountyverse's discretion.

10. Emergency Enforcement & Takedown Powers

Bountyverse reserves the right to immediately remove, disable, suspend, or restrict any bounty, content, account, or transaction, without prior notice, where we reasonably believe it is necessary to:

• Prevent harm to users or third parties
• Comply with legal or regulatory obligations
• Address security vulnerabilities or exploits
• Enforce these Terms
• Respond to suspected fraud, abuse, or prohibited content

Such actions may occur before any investigation is completed.

11. Suspension & Termination

Bountyverse may suspend or terminate your access at any time for:

• Violations of these Terms
• Fraud or abuse
• Prohibited content
• Legal or regulatory requirements

Termination does not affect completed blockchain transactions.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bountyverse from claims arising from:

• Your bounty creation or participation
• Your content
• Your violation of these Terms or applicable laws

15. Arbitration & Dispute Resolution (Canada-Based)

Except where prohibited by law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration or other lawful alternative dispute resolution, conducted on an individual basis.

Arbitration will:

• Be conducted in Canada, unless otherwise required by law
• Proceed under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider
• Not permit class, collective, or representative actions

Opt-Out Right (US-Friendly)

If you do not wish to be bound by this arbitration provision, you may opt out by sending written notice to [1bountyverse@gmail.com](mailto:1bountyverse@gmail.com) within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.

Opting out will not affect any other provisions of these Terms.

Some jurisdictions may not permit mandatory arbitration; in such cases, this section applies to the maximum extent permitted by law.

16. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Where arbitration is not permitted, disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Ontario, Canada.

17. Third-Party Services & Non-Affiliation

Bountyverse integrates with third-party services including Epic Games, X (Twitter), and Zero Messenger.

Bountyverse is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by these services unless expressly stated.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
